OUR PHILOSOPHY
provide a non-judgmental space to support learning, growth, and exploration.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT
Beyond Thinking wants to acknowledge that the land it does business being on the land of the Tongva people.
In a commitment to acknowledge our racist history and invest in communities that have been harmed by white supremacy. Annual donations will be made to Black Lives Matter and Black Voters Matter.
In order to infuse equity in Beyond Thinking’s practices:
Beyond Thinking will continue to do its own work to deepen it’s racial analysis, understand its personal and business privileges and power, and will be accountable to its collaborators of color.
Beyond Thinking has a pro-bono portion of its practice. It facilitates a white caucus and coaches individuals impacted by racism and other oppressions.
Do you want to deepen your understanding about individual, interpersonal, institutional, and systemic racism? Do you want to explore, examine, and transform your unconscious biases? Are you a leader who wants to decrease the inequities your Black employees, Indigenous employees, and employees of Color experience? Do you want to increase your confidence in your ability to communicate about race, equity, diversity, inclusion, or Anti-Racism? Are you looking to develop your racial justice analysis (specifically, if you identify as white)? If so, Beyond Thinking is here to support you on your anti-racism journey.
We recognize that Beyond Thinking is on indigenous land of the Tongva, Kizh, and Chumash communities, and we honor and extend our gratitude to these indigenous groups who call(ed) these grounds home.
